Terms and Conditions

All bookings of trips, day tours, experiences and other travel services offered under the brand visithallertau.de are subject to our General Terms and Conditions (Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen, AGB). Only the German version is legally binding.

For your convenience, here is a summary of the key points in English. It is for information only, is not exhaustive and does not replace the German Terms and Conditions.


Your contract partner

visithallertau.de is a brand of PDC Tourism, owner Marco Volpe, Ortsstr. 21, 84072 Au i.d. Hallertau, Germany. Your contract is concluded with PDC Tourism as the tour operator.


Booking

Your contract is concluded when you receive our booking confirmation. For package travel, German package travel law applies (Sections 651a ff. of the German Civil Code, BGB).


Payment

  • A deposit of 20% of the travel price is due after booking, once you have received the insolvency protection certificate (Sicherungsschein).
  • The balance is due 30 days before departure.
  • For bookings made less than 31 days before departure, the full price is due immediately.


Cancellation by you

You can cancel at any time before departure. We recommend doing so in writing. Cancellation fees depend on the type of trip and how close to departure you cancel:


Day tours, coach and round trips, and all trips not listed below (Scale A):

  • up to 31 days before departure: 20%
  • from 30 days: 25%
  • from 22 days: 35%
  • from 15 days: 50%
  • from 8 days: 70%
  • from 2 days, on the day of departure or no-show: 80%


Self-arrival packages, holiday homes and apartments (Scale B):

  • up to 46 days before departure: 20%
  • from 45 days: 50%
  • from 35 days: 80%
  • from 2 days, on the day of departure or no-show: 90%


Separate fees apply to cruises (see the German version). You are always entitled to prove that our costs were lower. We strongly recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.


Changes to your booking

There is no right to change dates or services after booking. Where we can accommodate a change, a fee of €50 per person may apply.


Minimum number of participants

If a trip has a minimum number of participants and it is not reached, we may cancel the trip up to 30 days before departure. In this case, you will receive a full refund.


During your trip

Please report any problems immediately to our local representative or to us so that we can help. Claims under package travel law expire after two years.


Dispute resolution

We do not take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
