Adopt a Hop Vine – and Give a Piece of Beer That’s Still Growing
The Hallertau is the largest hop-growing region in the world. With a hop sponsorship, one of its vines is yours: it grows in a real hop garden at our partner hop farm, carries a sign with your name and climbs up to seven metres high between April and August.
We keep you posted all season long – with photos of your vine from training to harvest. In September you experience the hop harvest live on your harvest day, see the hop kiln and raise a glass to your vine over a Bavarian snack and beer. Your voucher arrives by email right after purchase – perfect as a last-minute gift, too

Can I give the hop sponsorship as a gift?
Yes. After purchase you receive a voucher with a code by email. You can send us the name for the sign and certificate until 31 March 2027.
When is harvest day?
The hop harvest runs from about 3 to 26 September. Contact us by 31 July with your voucher code and we’ll book your preferred date.
Will my own vine be harvested on my harvest day?
We can’t guarantee that. The hops decide when a row is ripe – the farmer usually knows only a few days in advance. We’ll let you know as early as possible when your vine is due. You’ll experience the harvest on your day either way, and you’ll definitely receive the dried cones from your own vine.
What happens if hail or disease ruins the harvest?
You get a replacement vine from another garden of our hop farmer. A sponsorship is an experience, not a share of the yield.
Which hop variety is my vine?
Your vine is a classic Hallertau hop variety. The exact variety is printed on your certificate.
Can I visit my vine outside harvest day?
Yes, by arrangement. The sponsorship row is close to the farm and easy to reach.
Can I upgrade from Hop Sponsorship to Harvest Day?
Yes, until 31 July 2027 – just send us an email.
What if I can’t make it on harvest day?
Just pick another day within the harvest season. If no date works, we send your hop cones by post.
