Three Days Between Science and Craft
For professionals and hop enthusiasts who want to take their time: on this study trip, you'll spend two nights at Hotel Ostermeier in Gütlsdorf, in the heart of hop country. Day two is dedicated to the "green gold", with an exclusive visit to the Hüll Hop Research Centre where you can put your own technical questions to the researchers.
Afterwards, you'll stop for lunch at the historic Schlossbräukeller before visiting a traditional hop farm to see harvesting and drying technology up close. The highlight is a professional sensory beer tasting in which you compare beers directly with the matching hop varieties. On your day of departure, you can also visit the German Hop Museum in Wolnzach on request.
